What is an essential skill that students of the 21st Century will need to prepare them to a changing environment that will set them up to take up the challenges that will confront them?

Wan.Cognition, a local Singapore company, runs programmes which stem from the social emotional framework that represents a set of behaviours, attitudes and personality traits to motivate and empower students to manage their emotions, be disciplined to set and achieve their goals, be resilient to move forward, to feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain relationships and to make responsible ethical decisions.  Social-emotional learning (SEL), is foundational to expand learning programmes and aligns with the Ministry of Education framework.

Pedagogy

our pedagogy

We combine our approach towards experiential and transformational learning. Experiential learning help students to learn through experience and reflection while transformational learning help students to develop and apply critical self-reflecting to ponder on their beliefs and experiences and over time may change the way they see things. These pedagogies are intertwined with activities that will help students to be engaged in reflective learning that relates to the programmes for application and long term retention.

mode of delivery

We deliver our training live face-to-face. However during this present COVID-19 pandemic, the health, welfare, and safety of our clients, students, and course participants remains the number one priority for us. As a result, we need to adhere to strict social distancing requirements thus we resort to blended-learning; online training. We ensure the effectiveness of imparting the skills for the programmes that students will not be deprived of.

our team of instructors

Our team of Instructors bring a wealth of experience of more than 6 years. They are equipped with the knowledge of the programmes. They are also equipped with classroom management and online training.
